Who are we?

  • Almost seventy years ago, my grandfather ( Abdallah Jaber ) and his brothers ( Jamil and Jabour Jaber) moved from Lebanon to Brazil seeking for a a safer place with more opportunities. They were moving to a country that they didn’t know anything about: the language, culture, people .. with little to no money. The way out was to make Lebanese food and sell it door by door. By doing this, they were able to save money to open in 1952 their first tiny restaurant in Sāo Paulo, Brazil. Which is still open!
  • Due to their hard work, Jaber is one of the most prestigious Arabic restaurants in the state of Sāo Paulo. Nowadays It has eight open units in the city:
  • Now, you can ask me “How did Jaber end up in the USA?”
